About Kyle
Kyle Schrader (he/him) is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer born and raised in Huntington Beach, California. Kyle moved back to Orange County/LA area after graduating from Pace University in New York City in 2021, where he got his BFA in Commercial Dance with concentrations in Choreography and Pedagogy and a minor in Business. During his time at Pace, Kyle worked with a variety of choreographers some including Mandy Moore, Dee Caspary, Alexandra Damiani just to name a few. Kyle has trained in a variety of dance styles in both the classical and commercial realms of dance. Kyle has also trained in programs including American Ballet Theatre, Alonzo King’s Lines Contemporary Ballet, and Art’s Umbrella. Kyle has danced at the Comedy Store, in the Hollywood Christmas Parade, and for Huntington Beach’s Philharmonic Symphony. Kyle is signed with Go2Talent Agency and has worked as a guest artist with Redondo Beach Ballet and Laurie Sefton Creates. Currently, Kyle is in his fifth season with Backhausdance, where he has performed in works by Brett Easterling, FLOCKWORKS, Jessie Lee Thorne, Jennifer Backhaus, and more!

Up Coming Performances
Kyle is a company member with SOCAL based Contemporary Dance Company, Backhausdance. This season, he is performing in a work titled, “everywhere, but here” choreographed by Tommie-Waheed Evans. As well as dancing in the world premiere of, “Never Enders” choreographed by Megan Doheny & Ilya Nikurov. Kyle is also dancing in a new collaborative piece by company artistic director and codirector, Jennifer Backhaus and Amanda Kay White, titled “Multitudes”.
